 We ask for a 25% deposit to secure your booking and the balance 6 weeks before arrival. Currently we don't ask for a security deposit.

UpAlong Cottage is a 2 Bed cottage sleeping 4 People  ( Possibly 5 pax we can put a single bed for a Child in the Master bedroom if required - see note on Master bedroom)  

The cottage is the upper part of a 450 year old Devon Cobb (Mud) Longhouse ! As the building is so old, ceiling heights are low and there are several low beams to be aware of when booking !

UpAlong cottage has been fully insulated with special insulating lime render and with the solar panels on our barn, it has achieved an energy EPC rating of "A" and is officially  Negative 1 Tonne of Carbon Per Year ! 

Wifi is available throughout the Cottage although due to the thick walls mobile phone signals can be patchy

Ground Floor

The Lounge has the original fireplace with an efficient wood burning stove, smart TV. There are 2x two seater sofas and two single armchairs - total seating for 6.

The kitchen has an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, integrated fridge freezer, kettle and toaster plus a full sized dishwasher and dining table with seating for 4 ( can seat 6 on request), 
with patio doors to the enclosed garden with views over our fields

The utility room has a large sink, washer dryer and downstairs toilet (cupboard containing ironing board, iron and foldaway clothes dryer, vacuum)
there is an outdoor dog shower by the back door

The garden faces West, and in the summer gets full sun in the afternoon and evening , there is a patio with seating and also small shady area for those that like to read in the cool ! 

First Floor

The master bedroom has a Double Bed ( an additional foldaway bed is available if you have a smaller child that is happy or prefers to sleep in their parents room)

the Second bedroom has twin beds. The twin beds can me made into a SuperKing on request.

The bathroom has a separate shower and small cute tubby bath !
